MISSION : 1MM EXPERIMENNT
NMHM, a realization of the '1MM Experiment', is a commitment forged in empathy and resilience. Our goal is to provide one million meals every year to the underprivileged communities in Bangalore, a mission that, in our inaugural year, has already seen the sustainable distribution of 84,000 meals as of December, 2023.

But our purpose doesn't end with filling stomachs; it extends to fulfilling potential. To this end, we have expanded our initiatives to include education - because we believe that learning is as fundamental to life as food. As part of this commitment, I personally impart knowledge in Math and English to underprivileged children, igniting in them the flame of learning that can guide their way forward.
Moreover, we recognize that the challenges faced by the communities we serve go beyond food and education. Hence, our programs include the distribution of essential commodities such as blankets, ensuring not only the nourishment of bodies but also the comfort of life.
Our mission, though ambitious, is succinct: "Nourish bodies, empower minds, warm hearts. Build a brighter, sustainable future for the underprivileged." At NMHM, we transform lives, one meal, one lesson, one blanket at a time, etching lasting impressions in the sands of change. Join us on this transformative journey.
About us
During the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a young 16-year-old student from Bangalore, I, Amoghadithya. D encountered a sight that struck a profound chord. One day, while stepping out to buy essentials during the early days of the lockdown, I noticed a frail, elderly man rummaging through the trash for food. The sight was disheartening - in a world grappling with a health crisis, there were people whose fight for survival had been stripped down to the most basic level - food.
This painful yet eye-opening encounter served as the catalyst for NMHM (No More Hungry Mouths). Upholding the belief that everyone deserves an equal shot at life, irrespective of their social or economic background, this organization is a testament to sustainable action in a sea of transitory relief efforts. The aim of NMHM is not just to provide immediate relief, but also to broaden its impact, inviting others to contribute to this mission. Together, the vision is to create a more compassionate, equitable world, one step at a time.
